Using in a Little Free Library. One light is bright enough to light up the whole interior. Motion sensor works great and it shuts off rather quickly when no motion is detected. The adhesive circles it comes with are NOT strong at all. The first light I installed using just the provided adhesive fell off within a day, and someone took it. The 2nd one I installed I used a Scotch sticky back adhesive tape and it is still up.
I absolutely love these lights! I bought them because the hall light upstairs can tend to be seen under my son's bedroom door when he is asleep and I don't like to turn it on when I am going downstairs, and remembering a flashlight is a pain. I have one light on the stairs and one light in the vestibule at the bottom of the stairs. I didn't attach them permanently, just set them where I wanted them. I put on one light outside attached to my porch light so now in this dark season, if I come home after dark and didn't turn on the porch light, I have a light that goes on when I am about to climb the porch steps. They work exactly how I wanted them to work. Very satisfied!
Motion sensor light working perfect .I am using it in near the door.while going outside for shopping in night time.uaully switch on single line ght always for easy to get in without trouble.niw I am not switch on light while go out.just sticked this near my door.when I opened the door and come in. sensor will deduct and light will be on.so current saving for me now.no need to switch on light and wasting current.light is brighter enough to get in.it s battery operated .3 AAA batteries needed.nit included.super effective Happy with my lights.
All three lights worked properly upon receipt and I have no complaints about their construction or design. I needed a LED light that could be powered by a very small solar panel. My house was previously illuminated by eight under counter "Puck" lights, but the combined power draw from all of them was higher than my Solar Generator could support 24/7 during a power outage. (Especially on a cloudy day.) It became desirable to dimly light and brighten upon occupancy for the two bath rooms and to have a motion sensor only illumination for the rest of the house. (Conserving significant Watt Hours.) It is true that I could have retained the three AAA battery design and they would have sufficed. However I had previously wired all the rooms and converting them from 12V down to 4.5Volts was not a big deal in my case. (So I can enjoy them year round.)
Bought these to use as cupboard lights. At first, they didn't work the way I wanted because the light sensor would prevent them from going on. Even in a fairly dark room they would not go on. So, as another review suggested, I disabled the light sensor so it would go on even in light rooms when motion was detected. Except instead of breaking off the light sensor, I simply covered it with black electrical tape. Now they work great!
